Lawn Care

BRONZE (from £15pm) - Lawn Treatment Programme

This Service has 4 Treatments which are for fertilising the lawn, killing the moss and broad leaf weeds, applied in the Spring, early Summer, late Summer, and Autumn.

1. First Treatment

(March–May)

This involves spreading mini granular fertiliser, moss and weed killer, encouraging strong grass growth, giving your lawn a lush green look for spring.

2. Second Treatment

(May-July)

A fast acting fertiliser and selective weed killer is applied. This will replace the nutrients lost from regular cutting, which will help to develop a strong and healthy grass, and continue to kill any new weeds that have appeared.

3. Third Treatment

(July-Sept)

Summer fertiliser will be applied with a selective weed killer to eliminate any remaining weeds.

4. Fourth Treatment

(Sept-Oct)

An Autumn lawn feed with Moss killer is applied. This is a very important feed as it helps prevent moss from getting embedded in the lawn over the winter months.

SILVER (from 55 per month)- Lawn Treatment Programme

This Service has 4 Treatments which are for fertilising the lawn, killing the moss and broad leaf weeds, applied in the Spring, early Summer, late Summer, Autumn and early winter.

The first 4 treatments are the same as the Bronze Programme, plus:-

5. Lawn Scarifying

This is a special operation to rake out all the thatch and moss so that nutrients can reach the soil and improve the health of the grass.

6. Lawn Aeration

Lawn Aeration is the most important and beneficial treatment a lawn can have, and should be carried out annually to keep the lawn at its most healthy.

The lawn will be aerated by a hollow tine machine, inserting 45 holes per square metre, each with a diameter of 12mm up to a depth of 100mm, to de-compact the soil and allow the nutrients, water and air to flow to the roots.
